Peach Girl 15 Momo is watching the fireworks with Toji when Toji says he really wants to make things up with her. Momo acts like as if she couldn't understand him 'cause the fireworks where too loud. Momo blushes a little, then she looks at her keitai to see that she has a missed call, it was Kairi. Meanwhile Kairi is brought to a hospital 'cause he got real ill, so Momo can't reach him. She's walking back with Toji and they are not talking. Momo thinks about Toji's words and wonders what her feelings are. However, on the next day at work things are going well between them and they joke around etc. Momo pretends as if she has the situation under control, but she 's still pretty depressed, also because of Kairi. Later Momo receives a sms from Kairi, which says that he's distracted with work and he's looking forward to when they'll meet (ß I think). Toji asks Momo why she's so happy with all those tears in her eyes and she tells him she got a mesaage from Kairi. Toji doesn't look happy. Some days later Momo finishes work at the market and gets her money. She tells Toji goodbye and wishes her luck and says he'll be alright (he has to continue working). Toji goes back into the store and Momo starts walking, but she looks hurt and thinks "Thank you Toji". Kairi also gets his money and he leaves to meet up with Momo. He stops at a flower store to get some roses for Momo when he meets up with Misao-chan. She seems glad to see that Kairi is happy with Momo and helps him choosing some flowers. Suddenly Kairi's brother Ryou is standing in front of them and he ends up teasing Kairi as usual. A man Ryou had business with comes up from behind him and attacks him with a Katana suddenly. We see blossoms flying around. Momo is looking for Kairi when she sees him with Misao. She screams his name, but he can't hear her and leaves with Misao in a taxi. Momo sees the flowers lying on the floor. At the hospital Kairi is talking with Misao, when he remembers that he has to meet up with Momo. There's not much time left, so he grabs his things and runs. Momo is sitting around, looking very depressed, when somebody's asking her what she is doing there all alone. It's Toji. Momo says "Okayasu" and starts to cry. She tells Toji that she saw him with Misao and says she won't wait any longer. Some minutes later Kairi is arriving, but Momo's already gone. Kairi calls some friends and ask if they know where Momo is, but nobody knows. Meanwhile Momo arrives at Shiranami. She goes to the beach watches the see while she remembers the time when she saved Kairi from drowning and how happy she was to have him. Momo falls on her knees, crying. A guy tries to pick on Momo, but Toji saves the day. I'm not sure about what he says here, but I think he came because he was worried about Momo. He says he will wait for Momo and sits down away from her. Meanwhile Sae and Kairi are on a train, fighting. Sae tells kairi how stupid he was braking his promise with Momo etc. They are fighting even more, when the train suddenly stops. Momo and Toji are at the station to get a train back to Tokyo, but the information they get is that there are no more trains going because of an upcoming taifun. They go to a hotel and take a bath. When they come back the hotel's owner shows them their rooms, well it's a room for couples. Both are really embarrassed. Momo tries to act cool, but suddenly there's a loud noise (a flash of lightening), the room gets dark and Momo covers her ears, 'cause she's afraid. Toji hugs her, then he kisses her on the mouth. Kairi takes a Taxi 'cause he needs to get to Shiranami quickly to find Momo. Momo is making out with Toji and they are lying on the floor. Momo stops him, but Toji says stuff like loving her and always thinking about her while he touches her face. They continue kissing. Kairi is still in the Txi, looking very depressed. The car has to stop because something is blocking the streets so in the middle of nowhere Kairi pays the driver and leaves. He remembers that he has the hotel's phone number and calls, just to her that the room he rent *is* used. Kairi knows what's up. While Momo is having her first time with Toji, Kairi is sitting in the rain. On the next morning Momo wakes up and Toji is smiling. Momo's a little embarrassed, but then she smiles at him too. Hand in hand they leave the hotel and go to the station. While day are waiting on a platform for the train, somebody is standing behind them. It's Kairi, looking dirty and tired, who leaves immediately. Momo and Toji are getting out of the train and say goodbye to each other. Toji calls Momo one more time. When she turns around he makes the L-shape (do you remember this? Man, that's a long time ago already). She's running toward Toji and cries happily. Kairi is sitting on the beach in Shiranami, crushing the rose ,he bought for Momo, in his hands. He's crying.. What is Sanae thinking about Peach Girl vol 15? Well, I think this was a really sad volume. I mean, Peach Girl is always dramatic in some way, but seeing Kairi this time was really touching. I just began thinking that Momo should end up with Toji, but now I would prefer Kairi again. Momo finally had her first time, I also wanted her to have it with Kairi, but it's good to see that she's happy now. In my opinion this was one of the best peach Girl volumes. Back to Index
