Othello 3 Yaya is having a romantic dream where she and Moriyama almost kiss when somebody says "did you really forget about me?". When Yaya turns around she sees Shohei standing there. She says she won't ever forget him and she loves him very much. They kiss. Yaya wakes up, a little shocked about that dream. She looks at her Juliet poster and also thinks about Moriyama-kun. Moriyama meets up with his friend Shingyouji-san, 'cause they have a meeting with Moriyama's band Black Dog. Moriyama wants to go through Harajuku with him but at first Shingyouji doesn't really want to but then he goes. Yaya's also there and she waves to Moriyama. They talk but Shingyouji really wants to leave and pushes Moriyama away. Later they are sitting in a park and Shingyouji asks Moriyama about the girl that performed with Black Dog at their live concert (he means Nana). Moriyama tells him that Nana is a very … well, complicated woman and asks him why he is interested in her. Shingyouji says that's a secret and leaves. On the next day Shingyouji comes to Yaya's and Moriyama's school. Yaya is at the cafeteria and trying to get something to eat but a girl buys the last bread so Yaya transforms into Nana and grabs the food from the poor girl. When she sees the girl crying and apologizing she throws the bread back. Shingyouji sees everything and smiles. Nana gets back to Yaya's self and she faints and Shingyouji's there to help her. He carries her and puts her into his car and leaves. Yaya wakes up and realizes she#s in the car of a man she doesn't know. Shingyouji realizes she's awake and looks at her. He gets confused to see that the cool Nana he knows is looking at him full of fear. He drives her to a bakery and buys sacks full of food for her and Yaya doesn't even know why (very cute scene). Back in his car Shinyouji tells her that's Japan's best bread (he thinks Yaya doesn't like the bread cause she's looking at it strangely, she just looks like this 'cause she doesn't get the whole situation ^_^). Shigyouji gives her his calling card and it says his name is Syohei Shingyoji. Yaya asks him what his work is and he says he finds people who have charisma. He suddenly touches her face and tells her how impressed he's by her and gets closer to her but Yaya freaks out, transforms into Nana and hits him. She screams at him about not liking guys like him etc but he just laughs. Nana leaves the car and Shingyouji says he really wants to keep in touch with her. Nana looks at the card again and realizes the name on it. She thinks that this guy is Juliet's Shohei. (Short explanation: The card says Syohei and I always call that guy Shohei. That's the same name, it just depends on how you read it). At school Yaya's reading an article when Moriyama comes and talks with her about it. Yaya then says she's sorry for not caring about her job as staff member of Black Dog, but Moriyama says that's okay (thinking that's because she always transforms into Nana). Yaya says she wants to make things up and asks to be a staff member for the next gig and Moriyama says ok. So Yaya waits in front of the hall where the concert takes place. She is afraid about the comments of the Black Dog members she might has to hear 'cause she didn't come during the last concert. She runs upstair but stumbles and falls down. A guy from the bar gets Black Dog and he asks who she is. Nana says hi to the band members and gives them a sack of the bread she got from Shingyouji ^^. He is also there and togther with him Nana watches the band's rehearsal. They sing a Led Zeppelin song and Shingyouji hands her the microphone and says she should join them. Nana sings together with Moriyama. Two of the members say it sounds good and Nana should always with them. Moriyama says that's no good idea and another members says that's true 'cause it wouldn't be good to have the girlfriend of a member in the band ^^ (that's cute, he thinks Nana is Moriyama's girlfriend because of that kiss). Moriyama asks Shingyouji what he thinks about it but he isn't very cooperative. He asks Nana to come to his place with him and so she does and with Moriyama he drives to his flat. At his appartement they eat and drink wine and Moriyama leaves the room to watch the appartement. When he comes back he is shocked to see Shingyouji trying to get closer to Nana. Nana and Moriyama get to know Elisabeth, Shingyouji's crocodile, who bits into Nana's arm 'cause she's jealous. Later Shingyouji talks about the first time when he saw Nana at the live concert and says she got a feeling of electricity (the electricity shock, he means, but here he uses "kanden" for feeling and electricity) and he says he also felt some kind of electricity feeling- because of her and he touches her hair and stuff (it's hard to explain this, he was flirting with her. Then he says that Furuda from Black Dog was right when he said Nana sounds great and Shingyouji says she has the rhythm for music and everything and gets closer and closer. Moriyama stops the tense between them. He says he would give it a try and Nana says that makes her real happy, but Moriyama says he doesn't do this for her (I think). Shingyouji says that Nana really has to sing. To put it short they decide that they should give it a try and Nana should sing a song on Black Dog's next gig. Nana and Moriyama walk home and Nana tells him the story about her (or Yaya's) childhood and how she really wanted to become a singer. On the next day at school Yaya looks depressed and tells Moriyama that she again forgot what she happened last night. She talks about her being a staff member and she really wants to make a good job and everything. I'm not that sure about the next three pages but I think Moriyama tells Yaya that she doesn't have to continue being a staff member (I'm really not sure) and leaves looking disappointed (don't really get that at all ^^; but I think Moriyama's mood is according to the thing that Nana sings with them and Yaya doesn't know anything about it). Moriyama leaves and Yaya thinks about how he comforted her after they found about her secret and that she disappoints him so much now. On the day of the gig Black Dog are waiting for Nana. Moriyama tries to call her but can't reach her. Yaya cosplays as Mimi in Harajuku but she cannot concentrate and has no fun at all. One of her cosplay friends tell her that she should go so Yaya really hurries up and leaves. She gets to the Livehouse (the concert hall) and realizes that everybody is staring at her 'cause she is still in her cosplay dress. She wants to leaves when she bumps into somebody and fall down and all her things fall out of her bag. She spots her face in her pocket mirror and thinks "I'm Yaya" (she doesn't want to transform) when somebody picks up her photo of Shohei. It's Shingyouji-san and he's very mean to Yaya. He says she carries a picture of Shohei in her pocket but she doesn't know anything about him etc. Yaya feels very depressed and looks into her pocket mirror and of course transforms into Nana. She says something about her being a fan and at the end she adds a "Right, Shohei-chan?!" and Shingyouji stares. Nana runs to the band and all of them wonder who she is (she's still dressed as cosplay girl after all). Nana puts off her make up and destroys her cosplay dress to have something to perform. The boys are in shock. Black Dog and Nana go on the stage and Shingyouji realizes Nana is the same girl who just called him "Shohei-chan". The band plays well and Nana is good, but there's a girl in the ausiance who's looking pissed of. This girl goes to Nana and pretends to be really nice. She says that her name is Hano Magumi and she's a great Black Dog fan and she really enjoyed the music. She tells Nana she also saw her kissing Moriyama on the stage and Nana laughs. Still smiling nicely, Megumi says she has to do something for all Moriyama fans, so she… hits Nana real hard with a totally different expression on her face. Megumi goes back to the smiling mode and Nana doesn't get what just happened. Megumi says the Moriyama fans won't let Nana get away with such a behaviour, but Nana doesn't really care and leaves. At night Yaya wakes up in her room to find her ripped cosplay dress. She slightly remembers what happened, but she still doesn't understand who she are and what's going on all the time. Yaya thinks the way she is at the moment makes her really anxious. On the next day at school Yaya talk with Moriyama about his gig last night. Some girl is watching them, she clenches her fist. Later a new transfer student is indroduced. It's Megumi, who acts as if she's super surprised to be in the same school as Moriyama-kun -_-; Later she's talking to Moriyama-kun about Nana and Yaya overhears it. Megumi asks Yaya who she is, being a little mean to her at the same time. Moriyama tries to stop Megumi, but Yaya introduces herself. Megumi says Yaya is her first friend here and Yaya looks somewhat happy. But later when Megumi sees Yaya talking to Moriyama, she really looks pissed of. Megumi is walking with Yaya and shows her what a great Moriyama fan she is with knowing his birthday and stuff, while Yaya doesn't know anything about him, which makes her feel depressed. With the time Yaya realizes that Megumi is not a really good friend with always bullying Yaya and stuff. Yaya's on the toilet feeling really bad when she suddenly transforms into Nana. Nana goes to Megumi and drags her away. Megumi seems to recognize Nana, at that moment Nana sends her off with a hard punch and tells her that if she's trying to do something bad, Nana will wait for her with her punishment from heaven. On the next day at school Yaya meets Megumi with a plaster on her skin. Megumi says there are terrible news: Nana goes to the same school! Megumi says they have to hold on together! What does Sanae think about Othello 3? Yay, one of my favourite Manga at the moment. This was such a long summary, I'm not planning to do such long Manga descriptions any longer. Okay, vol 3 with lots of Shohei, Moriyama and Nana and not too much Yaya. There's also Megumi as a new character introduced, and here we have our unlikeable female Manga character, really, I can't stand her. I have to admit that… uhm… I'm confused… Yeah, really the Yaya-Nana thing makes me confused and I don't like that. But the characters make up for it. They are just hilarious, all of the 4 main characters. Okay, I 'm not the biggest Shohei fan at the moment but I lLOVE him together with Moriyama and Nana. Or only together with Nana… or Moriyama with Nana… and of course *yay* for Moriyama-kun x Yaya!!! Looking forward to July 03, that's when vol 4 comes out. *jumpsaround* ^_____^ Back to Index
