Kare First Love 4 Yuka says in front of Karin that she's going on a Goukon with the guys from class C (Kiriya's class). Yuka then goes to Karin and talks about her fight with Kiriya. In the evening Karin gets a sms from Kiriya. She's still down and calls Ayase who's sitting at a bar waiting for somebody. She telly Ayase about the Goukon and Ayase says she shouldn't worry about that and she should also think about Kiriya's feelings. Kiriya is at work and Tooru comes to ask him to join them at the goukon 'cause Yuka's also coming (as if this would be a reason for Kiriya to come..). Kiriya says he thought Yuka was the girl Tooru likes and Tooru says no that's Ayase. They talk a little more and Tooru thinks that's not the Kiriya he knows. Karin goes to her mother and says she will be late tonight 'cause she'll be studying at Ayase's place. Her mom gives her a Bento and Karin thinks she is sorry for lying to her mother. Karin is waiting for hours in front of Kiriya's flat and finally he shows up, surprised that Karin's there. Karin doesn't know what to say. They are talking about their fight and Karin said she was afraid Kiriya could be angry because he isn't able to do ecchi things and he says he doesn't know what she's talking about, blushing. Karin hugs Kiriya and they almost kiss, but suddenly Kiriya pushes her away, saying that's wrong and she should leave. Karin runs away and Kiriya doesn't look happy. Kiriya wants to run after her but she's already gone. At school they are talking about the upcoming festival and girls talk about bringing their boyfriends along. Ayase asks if Kiriya will be coming but Karin says he has work. On her way home she sees Kiriya with his friends on the bus and decides not to take the bus. Kiriya is sneezing in the bus, his friend talk about him getting a cold. Karin is at the evening school and two guys try to hit on her. She wants to say she has a boyfriend but then realizes that she doesn't really have. She is afraid of the boys but is happy to see Hiromu later. Then we see Karin writing an invitation for the festival and sending it to Kiriya. The festival comes and Karin is waiting for Kiriya. Even Hirou comes (what makes Ayase freak out a little) and Yuka's also there with her boyfriend. Karin goes to the musicroom to play piano when somebody takes apicture of her. It's Kiriya who finally came. They kiss and make up and Hiromu and Ayase overwatch them ,looking happy. Ayase suddenly breaks down and they bring her to the infirmary room. Ayase says it's allright and when the others leave she's calling somebody and says she cannot come tonight. Ayase's looking really down. Karin leaves with Kiriya (his face is all read) and he says he has to go to work but he gives her his keys. Karin's blushing. Karin goes to his room and prepares dinner for him. Later he comes and Karin's fixing her hair ^^. Kiriya isn't looking too well and she realizes he's having a fever. While he tries to sleep Karin is making her homework. Later he wants Karin to feed him the food she has done and she's blushing again. Karin then says she has to go now but Kiriya holds her hand and asks her not to go. Karin doesn't know what to do. Kiriya realizes this and says he's sorry and she should go. Karin calls home and speaks on the answering machine that she's going to staqy over at a friends house. At 11 o'clock somebody calls her. It's her father who wants to know who this friend is and where she is. Karin says the battery is low and finishes the call. She sleeps next to Kiriya's bed holding his hand and wakes up in the morning. Before she leaves she kisses Kiriya's cheek who slept the whole time and says "See you later". When she closes the door Kiriya also says "See you later" (Waaah, that's so cute, he was awake all the time). At home Karin has troubles with her parents, especially her father, who thinks she's too young for having a boyfriend and doesn't want her to see Kiriya any more. Kiriya calls her and wants to say thank you for the last night but her father answers and says Karin's not here. They fight and Karin doesn't understand his reaction and her mom doesn't support her neither so Karin leaves the room. Her father calls Kiriya, who is happy to receive a call from karins cellphone but her father says he should stop going out with his daughter and finishes the call. He sees a picture of Kiriya on her Keitai and things he is this kind of guy who likes to do nasty things to her. Karin goes to Ayase and she gives Karin the chance to talk to Kiriya via her cellphone. Later Ayase tells Karin that she thinks she's pregnant. Karin says she'll be there for her and Ayase says she's happy. On the next day they go to a drug store, but Ayase is afraid to go in so Karin says she'll go. Kiriya is nearby and sees Karin entering the drugstore, so he also goes in O_o Karin's just comparing Pregnancy tests and Kiriya says hello to her and sees what she's looking at. Suddenly a woman comes up and asks them which school they are going to and what they are doing. The woman calls Karin's dad and he picks her up. (of course he thinks Karin and Kiriya did it and the test was for Karin). Kiriya and Karin are holding hands and ayase tries to explain that this test wasn't for Karin. Karin's dad wants to leave with her and Kiriya says he and Karin doesn't understand him and Karin is his girl. Karin father holds in for a moment then leaves. Ayase apologizes to Kiriya. On the next day at school Karin gets a message from Ayase saying she's sorry and asking her whether everything is alright and Karin says it is. Karin is called to the teacher#s room and they talk about what happened the day before to her. They also say somebody said he/she saw Karin going to Love Hotels. Karin then meets Yuka who talks about Karin going to Love Hotels in front of everyone loudly. [Ayase hits her] (*yay* she's been deserving this for a while already). Later Ayase and Karin are talking and Ayase says the test was negative. Karin meets Kiriya at the bus station and they are riding the bus together. The are holding hands and are kissing and looking happy. Kiriya also asks her to spent Christmas with his. Karin receives a present from Ayase. It's really sexy underwear. Later Karin's sitting at home, she's studying.She's looking at Kiriya's key he gave to her when her father watches her. On the next day she goes shopping with Ayase to get something for Kiriya. Later Ayase says she's going to meet somebody and Ayase is surprised to see it's Hiromu. Karin goes to evening school and the date is set for afterwards, but when Karin gets out of school she sees her father waiting for her. She gets into the car thinking about the date. Meanwhile Kiriya's waiting for Karin. When her father holds at a traffic light, Karin jumps out and runs away. But Kiriya's already gone and somebody steps on her birthday present for him. Karin's at home in her bad looking sad. Suddenly someone throwing stones at her window. She looks out and sees a present lying on the fence. She runs out and stops Kiriya. Karin says she's sorry and cries. They are kissing a lot. They go to Kiriya's or karin's place and fall on the bed, still kissing What is Sanae thinking about Kare First Love 4? I think volume 4 was great because the plot was really good. Also I got to like the characters more ,especially Hiromu and Ayase, they are pretty cool. (Actually I like Hiromu more than Kiriya, but only a little bit). Okay we know they'll do it in volume 5, but I pray Kare won't turn out to be a smutty Manga where they have sex all the time. I hate Shoujo Manga with sexual content to be honest so I'm curious about the way how Kare will continue. Also for those who want to get the Manga. If you are going to buy vol 4 try to get the more expensive version with the postcard book. It costs about 570 yen, but the postcards are really nice, I was happy I got the more expensive version (but I'm not sure if it is still available). Back
