Aishiteruze Baby 4 Miki, Yuzuyu's cousin says Yuzuyu will come with her. When Kippei asks what this is about, Miki takes out a knife and says he must not come near. Kippei manages to take Yuzuyu from Miki and she says it was just fun and she want to talk to them. It turns out her name is Miki Sakashita and she's only 14 years old. She says she came her, because Yuzuyu is a very precious person to her and she won't go back without her. Kippei's sister says Miki can stay for some time, 'cause she thinks this might be a good idea. Kippei meets Miki upstairs and she as if she's really that scary. Kippei kinda looks down on her and says as long as she's in his house, she shouldn't run around with dangerous things. Miki doesn't really take him seriously and Kippei says she won't get Yuzuyu. In his room, Yuzuyu tells him that she really likes Miki. Kippei is having a dream with Kokoro in it ,when he wakes up he sees Miki's face close to him. Yuzuyu comes in and sees it and says Miki mustn't do anything because Kippei already has Kokoro (so cute!). Later Miki is sitting outsite the house and we see her touching some scars on her arm. Yuzuyu comes up and they talk a little and Miki seems really glad to have Yuzuyu by her side. When Kippei comes and telly her to come with him she doesn't look too happy. Suddenly Miki's parent come up and ask her what she's doing and Miki's father slaps her. Miki suddenly takes out the knife and throws it in his direction, but fails him. Everybody is shocked about that. Miki runs away and Kippei goes after her. He asks her why she was running away from home and suddenly sees the scars on her arm. Miki says (a little crazily) that this was her test of courage. Kippei says women shouldn't be like that and Miki suddenly pulls her arm back. Yuzuyu comes up because she wanted to know if Miki was okay and Kippei goes and buys ice cream for them. While he's away, Yuzuyu asks her why she ran away and Miki says she won't go back again, she wants to die. On the next day Kippei wakes Miki up to make her clean the house with them and later he says she's a good girl for helping them and pats her on the head. Miki blushes a little. Later the three of them go shopping and Kippei says the two kids can go and choose candy for 200 Yen and Yuzuyu is all happy but Miki is mad because he referred to her as a kid again. Yuzuyu then realizes that something's up with Miki. Later, still at the store, a little boy is staring at Miki's scars and his mother drags him away. Miki has a strange expression on her face. Kippei comes up and tells her to come and smiles a little and her expression changes. On their way home, Miki walks behind them and starts commenting about Kippei playing the babysitter and also says it's the first time someone's looking after her, nobody really cares about her. Kippei's looking at her and says they can also walk in one row and smiles. Miki is blushing once more. On the next day, Miki asks Kippei is his school is fun and he says it is. Miki wants to go with him, but Kippei flees, so Miki goes after him. At school, Kippei hears that Kokoro is in the health room, so Kippei goes to see her. Kokoro seems to be a little mad at Kippei and it turns out, she's sad that they hardly saw each other lately. While they are kissing, Miki stares at them through the window. She has a lost look on her face and remembers what people who bullied her said to her. She goes back home and changes into her uniform. She takes out her knife and Yuzuyu asks what's up with her. Miki says she'll take Yuzuyu to her mother, so they'll have to go now. She's leaving with Yuzuyu. Miki and Yuzuyu go to Miki's family's house and through the window, Miki sees how her parents are playing with their relatives children. She stares at her parents, then turns around and walks away and Yuzuyu follows her. Miki's mother seems to realize something, she steps outside, but Miki and Yuzuyu are already gone. Yuzuyu asks where her mother is and Miki angrily says she doesn't even know Yuzuyu's mother and she was lying to her and she's stupid to wait for such a person. Yuzuyu starts crying. Miki hugs her and apologizes. Meanwhile, Kippei and his family are searching for Yuzuyu, when Miki calls. Kippei decides to go to her. Yuzuyu asks Miki if there is something that makes her sad and Miki says nobody would understand. Actually Miki has always had a good life, got along with her family and was looking forward to school. One day he saw her homeroom teacher hitting a classmate and asked him why he did that. From that moment on, the homeroom teacher blackmailed Miki and made everyone hate her. Because of this, the relationship with her parents got bad too. Miki tells Yuzuyu about this when Kippei comes up, happy to see Yuzuyu. Miki is crawling on the roof balustrade and Kippei asks what she's doing. Miki answers dying. Kippei says "please don't die" but Miki says if she's dead even Yuzuyu could find a better person than herself. Kippei says that's not true, since Miki is definitely the one she wants to have around her. Miki is touched by this and starts to cry. Kippei hugs her and gets her from the balustrade. Later Miki parents are coming and her father wants to slap her, but Miki mother stops him and cries. Miki tells them she once heard her father saying that he doesn't need such a daughter, that's why she decided to run away. For the first time now, Miki thinks she doesn't want to die. She decides to make a new start at a new school with her parents. Some time later, Kippei has to catch a cockroach, when Miki suddenly visits them. They ask her if she ran away from home again and she says of course not, she came to get her things. Kippei and Yuzuyu accomplish her home. Miki says she's doing a lot with her parents now and she's very happy. At the station Kippei says it was fun and they say goodbye. Miki gets into to train and when the door closes, Kippei and Yuzuyu get to see [Miki's real smile]. Back at school, Kokoro is still mad at Kippei (because they didn't see each other often propably, don't really get this) and doesn't really want to talk to him and tells him to go. Before he leaves, he looks around and kisses her. Later Kokoro is behind the school when a baseball rolls to her feet. A baseball player comes to pick the ball up and asks her if she's Tokunaga-san. Kokoro asks how he knows and he says he's from the class next door and leaves. Suddenly he comes back and says it was a lie, he knows her name because he likes her. Kokoro is very schocked, even as he's already walking away. Kokoro asks him to wait and says she's sorry, she already has somebody she's with. The boy asks who he is and Kokoro says it's Katakura Kippei. She apologizes again and leaves, the boy is watching her with a disappointed look. On the next day at school the boy (let's call him by his name, Itagaki) sees Kippei at the lockers with a lot of girls and let's a girl confirm that this really is Katakura Kippei. At class, Kippei gives a self-made bento to Kokoro and some his friends are really touched, some are like -_-. At kindergarten, Yuzuyu is also happy that she got such a nice bentou and everybody is envying her. Kokoro seems to be touched too and they also kiss. Later she's by in the classroom by herself, when Itagaki comes in. He asks her why she wants to be with such a guy (referring to all the girls) and Kokoro says he should let her go. Itagaki forcefully kisses her. Kokoro screams "no" and Itagaki pushes her onto the desk. He says "I said I love you" and Kokoro rushes out of class. While this was happening, Kippei was out to pick Yuzuyu up. Kokoro's friends are wondering what's taking Kokoro so long and she herself is still standing around in shock. She remembers that Kippei said she's important to him and desperately calls his name. What is Sanae thinking of Aishiteruze Baby 4? Good volume IMHO. I liked the Miki storyline, because Miki was kinda cool. I like characters like her. I was a little sad that there was not more Kokoro x Kippei in the first chapters, but at least they kissed twice in the end. (Like in every other Shoujo Manga right now) a love rival came up. I have to say he's kinda cute from his looks, looking forward to learn more about him. Hey I can't blame him, Kokoro IS cute *lol*. Still the same Kokoro supporter ;) ISBN 4-08-856515-0 Back
