I call this part the "semi-faq". This hasn't really to do with the site, it's just playing around. When I talk with my friends or with people from boards about Othello, several questions come up. We tried to find good answers and I collected them all. This section might contain spoilers, some things are impossible to answer (so far) and I can only guess.
-The most common question: How is Othello going to end? Will Yaya win over Nana? Will Nana beat Yaya? Will Nana and Yaya be two different persons in the end? O_o
Who knows. Well, Ikezawa-sensei does and we won't find out until the end of Othello. I think Yaya won't ever turn into Nana, but she'll definitely gain self confidence and she'll learn to stand up against other without the help from outsiders, but she'll never be as strong as Nana. I hope she'll simply find happiness.-Who is Nana?
A friend of mine had a good explaination. Nana is the person Yaya would have become, if kids woudn't have called her a show-off or an idiot when she was still very young. It's the Yaya, litlle Yaya wanted to become later and this self wants to win over the weak Yaya now. I think this is a possibility.-What's Moriyama's role?
You know, he's the only one who's there for Yaya, so I'd say he's her supporter. He's the first one to know that Nana is Yaya and he knows about Yaya's low self confidence and he's here to help her. If Yaya really gets strong in the end, it's probably because of Moriyama.-Does Moriyama love Yaya? And how's his relationship with Nana?
It's too early to say now. Othello is not our average Shoujo Manga, there's much less romance. I think he doesn't love her (yet), but he likes her a lot. And he will end up with her. Moriyama dislikes Nana at the beginning, but later he gets to like her more. In my opinion this is one of the most interesting question: will Moriyama fall for Nana? We can definitely see that he gets along with her better, but could he deal with her strong personality enough to prefer Nana over Yaya. I don't think so.-Does Shohei like Nana?
I would say he's interested in her. It seems that he finds her good looking but he's definitely interested in her singing skills. He once said she's too young for him, and I don't thing there will be romantic moments between those two.-What's the relationship between Shohei and Yaya?
They don't really have one. Shohei and Yaya only met a couple of times after Nana transformed back into Yaya or before the transformation. Yaya is pretty anxious of Shohei because he doesn't threat her nicely. I think he doesn't like shy girls and he definitely doesn't want to be with cosplayers. Yaya of course doesn't know that Shohei is Juliet's Shohei.-Is Seri really in love with Moriyama?
I have no idea, but that's what I'd really like to know. She's pissed when Moriyama is talking to Yaya, but it could also be because she doesn't want her the have friends. Maybe she really likes him herself, I'm curious.-Is Nana really in love with Moriyama?
I think so, because her feelings and Yaya's are the same, so this mean she should also like Moriyama. She only shows it differently. I also think that Yaya actually is a good singer, because she and Nana have the same talents.-What is Moriyama's first name?
We don't know. They didn't say his first name in the Manga or in Betsfure or elsewhere so far. I would like to know too ^_^-Are the cosplay preople Yaya's friends?
I'm pretty sure. Yaya once said they are pretty anonymous, because they only know each other's cosplay name, but they are all nice to Yaya. After Nana appears, they even look up to her as a cosplayer.-What kind of music does Black Dog play?
We don't really know, but it should be Visual Key. Juliet is a Visual Key band and their music sounds similar to Led Zepplin's. In volumes three Moriyama perform a Led Zepplin song together, Also, Yaya liked Black Dog's music when she listened to his demo tape and we know that she's a big Visual Key fan.-Why is the title "Othello"?
I don't know since it has nothing to do with Shakespeare's Othello. Well, as far as I remember. Shakespeare's Othello isn't about a person who has a two sided personality or something like that. It's mainly about jealousy. There is some jealousy in Othello, but it's definitely not the main topic, so I'm wondering too....
I'm interested in you opinion. If you would like to add something, simply email me! ^_^
