History
Melodie was originally born as a personal blog of mine. It first saw daylight on April 5th in the year 2003 and was hosted by Kolumbus. On January 1st 2004, Melodie moved under Suki-Da network and has been hosted by the lovely Sanae ever since.
As I mentioned earlier, Melodie once used to be home to my blog/online journal (which explains the strange way of numbering the layouts). The fact that I was introduced to the world of Livejournal in January 2004 changed everything, slowly but surely. Having now Livejournal to fulfill my online diary needs, in the run of following few months, I wrote to Melodie more and more seldom, and finally, at the end of last year, I decided that it was time for me to turn this site into something different.
From that moment, Melodie was out of business for months. Being busy with the matriculation examination, I consciously had to wait with Melodie until I would be done with the exams. Eventually, the last exam on March 30th brought freedom. I could begin the work already the following day.
Before Melodie even existed, I used to have a personal site Real Me hosted by Kolumbus until the switch of the servers on April 1st 2005. The site had however been doomed before its existence and I never really had time to update it as much as I had wanted. Hopefully, Melodie will bring a happy change and stay live for a long time to come.
